For its company’s appearance at the 23rd China International Furniture Fair, in Guangzhou, Matsu designed a booth showing pila petite as well as pila Doppelstock.
The outer wall was made out of pila petite, reminiscent of the Water Cube from the Beijing Olympics. The system enclosed the whole stand – with a total size of 700 m² – as a transparent and elastic curve skin. Taking a look inside the stand, one part was made out of pila Doppelstock. For the reception area as well as the furniture inside the stand Matsu used pon office.
